Parkland Fitness Club is very excited to bring back a previous program to our community - with a twist!
This year, we will be relaunching Junior Strength, a sport specific, individualized strength program targeted at athletes in Grades 6 - 8.
The twist...... it is now running BEFORE SCHOOL!
Tuesdays &/OR Thursdays
September 9th, 2025 - June 18th, 2026
7:15 - 8:15AM
Cost:
2 times per week $80/biweekly
1 time per week $40/biweekly
*$160 deposit required (will be put towards first invoice in September)
**Specific day per week can be confirmed after DMH Team Selections
Here's the breakdown of the morning:
7:15 - 8:15 - Strength Program
8:15 - 8:30 - Breakfast/Snack/Change
8:30 - depart to MMS
As Mackenzie Middle School is just across the street from our facility, it is a short and safe walk for the athletes and will ensure they arrive on time as per school requirements.
As many athletes participate in multiple sports and activities, we will allow for them to change their sport-specific focus (if you choose to) up to 2 times throughout the school year
Some examples of sport specific programming may be:
Hockey - Baseball - Volleyball - Track & Field - Swimming - Dance - Riding - Basketball - Snowboarding/Skiing - Golf - Mountain Biking - Tae Kwon Do - General - Etc.
A great opportunity for kids to get comfortable within a fitness setting as well as increase their strength, speed, balance and confidence.
